Stephen if you think about it, with the main aim this season to finish top or consolation second place every game is important and no game is "a given". Play-off's this year imo are for show only having no impact on progress to a higher league (maybe there is a money bonus, i just don't know). In years gone by i would be thinking the same as you posted Save Kes for bigger games ( i thought you meant the play-off games) but every single game matters now for the progress of the team the following season, doesn't it ?. |

Fair point ste, but if he is only 50/50 then i would ensure he is back for rochdale. I agree every game matterd, that is why you cant carry A player with a injury, sure ryan and rowls will make the right call

The bigger games are now, other than Fev & Bately away Keighley is probably going to be one of our toughest games left (they certainly were tough away at Cougar Park! Play offs don't [ireally[/i matter, what matters is securing top spot as soon as possible, the sooner we can do that the more rest we can give to players carrying injuries before going into the playoffs to go for a little bit of extra prize money, a good day out, a bit more acknowledgement for the club & players and a nice shiny trophy.
Of course it's up to Rowley to balance that just how injured is he V how good is he, I've no doubt he'll get it right. |
