I don't see this happening at all, especially not the "for free" part.

Still, after the numerous 'attacks' on McNally's health by the Seagulls playes yesterday, I can see it would be good to have good cover at FB, if in fact there is any truth in these 'rumours'.

I'm sure I read somewhere the salary cap would be reviewed if the need came about. Not saying we are near the limit but I'm sure I read that.

Personally, I would not swap McNally for anyone, certainly Kevin Locke he would never have survived the assaults on Greg yesterday! McNally is the tops for me!

Locke wouldn't be number one pick,but nothing wrong with having some cover for McNally you can't keep taking hits the way he has this season,not only in the game yesterday.

Press conference at Salford tomorrow! Mar telling the truth to the press and fans. Will he announce Locke's contract has been terminated and he is signing for Leigh but he can't play against Salford?

Saints need a full back, McDonnell out for the season....unless Wellens is returning soon.

Locke looks too injury prone from whats being said...Not someone we want and pretty sure Saints will see it the same way.

I can see Wakey recruiting even more for the middle 8's,as I've said before Wakey will potentially be the stronger of the four SL clubs and injury free.

I expect you are right about recruitment but wonder about them being the strongest of the four SL clubs. Predicting injuries or lack of them for an entire club would seem to be impossible.

Not if your already resided to the middle 8's. Would you play your strongest squad in their remaining fixtures in SL? Which is more important to Wakey at this stage,the remaining SL games,or survival in the SL via the middle 8's?

Smith has not taken that option so far. He needs to develop an effective team and that is only achieved by playing together. His first time in charge showed an improvement and the Cats game he developed the team further. He will want to continue with this. Wakey are not in the same situation as some of the top teams have been in in recent

years when they have been able to rest players from a settled team during the run-in.
