Our team tend to delay the entrance to the field as a tactic to leave the opposition waiting around, so I would think timing is an issue. I believe that Newcastle have it on some kind of loop, a signal goes up to the control box as they are about to enter so that they can time it precisely to when the team enters the field. How they do it, I don't know.

Thats why I said a minute was the best because I timed it at Salford. When you see them starrt to appear play the piece.

Just want to jump in here. I'm doing the music & screen this year, and I think the O Fortuna tune is a great idea. I'll make an edit to use, should get about 60 secs from it from what I've heard, which should be about enough time. Should sound awesome

Micheal, about 1min 38secs into my recording you will hear the hylight start through to the end which is about 2mins 34secs. This gives us about 53 - 56 secs depending on the player. You can hear the point, there is a sudden change in volume and orchestra involvement. Looking forward to this.

Exaclty that. There are - in my opinion - slightly better versions of this tune with a more mixed sex choir. Not being sexist but that version is a bit too female heavy. But yes that is spot on for the timing. Doesn't it make the hairs stand up on the back of your neck?
