If pownall,duffy,maden and goulden are missing, then we will struggle majorly. Especially making yards as maden takes two drives in a set! Fev did nothing special to beat us last friday, they are a well organised tough tackling team who finished their sets, and made sure the ball landed in their halfbacks hand on the 5th. They then chased with vigour on the 5th, and continued the heavy tackling. Simple rugby league played very well is what fev do best, we need to match it to start with, then go one better! I think the team does need tweaking.

Good morning Cushy , hope you are well ?I was very impressed with Fev again last night , your defence is very good , though im not impressed with Fax , for me they are a very overated team .If the Leythers try to out muscle you we will get beaten no doubt , we dont need to play like that , if we attack you with speed and Riddy and Brierley decide to run at you then i feel a win is for Leigh .



Fev need to be attacked your backs 1-5 are not very mobile , big yes . mobile no , when we attack other teams we create havoc in their ranks and i feel hopefully PR will know what needs to be done , id sooner have a win on Thursday than Sunday , we need Blackpool , as Fev do ,anyway im going for a score of Fev 24-Leythers 28 depending on our game play .

If the Fev fans react like they did towards the ref when they win like they did at Leigh, then I'd hate to see their reaction to a loss.

Be warned fellow leythers, Fev fans are very sore losers, very sore indeed.

Duffy likely to be out but Goulden should be available. Not sure where we stand on Spencer and Laithwaite, but would be a big boost if we can have them in the squad.

All the Fev fans I met before, during & after the game last week where great saw some of them even buying the pies at half time so must have been upper class flat capers to pay those prices

I sat behind D P and the Fev coachin set up and was impressed with the way they conducted themselves very professional DP never once looked like losing it even when LEYTH where coming back unlike a couple of coaches I've seen this season in SL and in the Championship , should be a good game Thursday but Centurions will have to move up 3 gears to beat Fev

So you are saying we have only been playing in 4th gear this season

A 3 full days between our games, quiite a few players missing, a few not at 'their best' at the moment, Fev are back to their best though, LOW expectations to say the least.
