On IP's I'd just add in a world of mobile devices the IP is no longer reliable. Most people using mobile devises with certain providers will have the same central IP.



There are of course more sophisticated programmes such as ThreatMetric that can guarantee a device ID but I doubt rlfans have this!!

Multiple usernames are used on RL fans and most are detectable and believe you me if someone needs to be traced it can be done .

So to guarantee full traceability you must have a device finger print solution..... Which has a high 90% strike rate.



I'd guarantee one thing if someone had the time RL fans would find it impossible to guarantee someone was using 2 aliases.

I have a lot of time for Andy and from reading his posts on here there is no doubt he has helped to build re newed optimism in the club , driven the feel good factor that fans allude to which in turn has contributed to the increase through the gates and in the corporate this year.



If Andy is no longer part of the board then IMO that will be a big loss.



However it is no secret that the club despite some prize money and with a FT operation to fund is still very much relliant on board room investment and i dont think there is any doubt that a significant amount of that will come from Dereks wallet. May be that is part of the problem I really do not know.



I do hope though that Andy and Derek can pick up the phone and agree a compromise as both are incredibly passionate about our club and both have worked hard to get it where it is now. We can not afford to un do it all at this stage.

I was really hoping thinks could get sorted . Andy will be missed so much. It's gonna take someone special to take his place .

It was always going to happen. Once derek got involved there would only be one of two outcomes:-



1. Derek walks and leaves the rest to pick up the pieces

2. Derek fires the rest off (or the one's he wants to) after all he's the one funding the club.



Unfortunately andy's vision of a community owned club didn't come to fruition & probably never will. A rugby league club needs a money man (or women)

If you speak with your mate he will tell you that I have met with all my promises and financial commitments that I have ever made to the club so you need to get your facts straight.



If by heel draggers you refer to people who wish to see a sustainable club well managed operation with long term vision and steady growth rather than just a short term strategy with elements of risk taking and gambling then im guilty as charged.



I have resigned for my own personal reasons which I wont go into on a public forum and have wished Derek and his team well and will continue to financially support and sponsor the club I love but wont be involved in the day to day management team.



All the attention and focus should be on Paul Rowley and this truly great team of guys we have wearing our famous shirt so lets all get behind them and get over to Leeds and make our support count!!!
