Sorry, but whilst you can't argue with extra dosh being needed, the way in which it's generated has to be done fairly.



What no-one is acknowledging here is that it's far from transparent what the businesses take back out again.

If there was actually something to "take back out" then I don't think we'd be so desperate for further investment.

Well done to the fellas, it's exactly what we need. I'm absolutely sure they have put in far more than the minimum £25 per month, but however much it is it can only be good for the club. especially if it encourages more to do the same.

These guys putting money into the club are business people from Leigh at a time when keeping a business afloat (especially anything associated with the Construction Industry) is demanding to say the least. I think they should be applauded for their efforts.

So, explain to me what you think the 'perks' might be?

just why exactly are you so dead against someone putting money into the club?

here is my idea i know its a bit far fetched

Money is tight for everyone at the moment so why not volenteer your time instead of money with a few perks thrown in





Apply for a stewarding position at a local Super league club who play on Friday nights.



Say you work 5 hours @ £5 an hour thats £25 x 13 home games = £325 per person per season

You are donating the money to our club so we get better players and all it cost you is a few hours a week

Another club is paying for our team





All money could be paid directly into one account then given to the club at the start of the season and nobody will have spent a penny and you got to watch good rugby for free

Again someone judging others by what is obviously their own poor standards

All the five gentlemen mentioned in the press release, have each put capital into the venture, and let me put it this way, it's alot more than £25 each.

Andrew some wouldnt believe you even if you showed them the bank slips its far easier to be negative (especially when the negative people are self confessed part timers) about good news, especially when they are also confirmed doom and gloomers.
