Lets be honest, Taylor isn't in the same kind of DR as Spencer as he has hardly touched a ball in a Leigh shirt , now I can understand Rowley manipulating the weak RFL rules on this (just as Hunslet and Swinton have done) and picking him as he is in a results business but come on this isn't a player getting in because he's been playing well for Leigh and thus we're picking our strongest squad - this is a Wigan player coming in as he's a England International and we are desperate for a result.

Jenky , I agree with you about Scott Taylor ,IF Scott plays as you so rightly say its about results and hopefully we can get the right one on Saturday evening , young Duffy is one for the Future , but the NRC Final is NOW ,I hope we see Scott in a Leigh jersey a few times before the season ends , but who knows .
As for Scott himself I know how much he enjoys playing for Leigh , and the look on his his face at Fev when we knocked them out of the NRC said it all , he WILL give 100% if selected on Saturday . |

If Aspinwall was fit we wouldn't be using Taylor simple as that IMO. Duffy is a good player but lacks fitness & this game will be running at a fast intense speed which won't suite Duffy at all where as Taylor's FT fitness will be invaluable.

It would be a close call between Penky & Nico Penkys form has,nt been good but he's a big game player Nico on the other hand is in great form whenever he gets on and speeds the game up which in the heat on Sat in the stadium which could go up to the high 30s with the temp outside in the high 20;s could be the difference in playing Nico and possibly a full time Taylor

Well I have heard our lads are on a big bonus should they win on Saturday.
We have all seen the team spirit in our side and I am sure that bonus will be shared between all squad members whoever is selected.
Imo we are a club going in the right direction.
The nucleus of the team has already been signed for next season and from what I hear we will have a massive pack.
