I think there were a few outstanding candidates for MOM. Tommy Goulden had a splendid game as well as Tom. Young Ridders was integral to everything we created.



I think there were 3 pivotal moments that swung the game our way.



One was the introduction of Penky that gave us a little more speed around the ruck, second was undoubtedly young Bate's try right on the stroke of Half Time. It brought us smack bang back in the game, it gave us a visible lift and installed belief in the lads at a crucial time. Third were both the sending off's as it created the space then for Ridyard and Brierley to exploit.



However I think all the Leigh team performed superbly in that match.

We need to get this trending on Twitter like we did for Ryan Brierley last year.

I was told Spenners was in tears before the match,he was that emotional about the game,100% pure class he is.

Spenners is a Star no doubt , and a very modest lad , just like Ryan , we are blessed at Leigh with having a good set of lads , the answer to Signing Tom is getting bigger home gates to give the Board the ammunition they need to spend ,Cmon Leythers show the Board you care .

Just watched the game again and was blown away by Tom Spencer in the second half. His running and tackling were immense but I was even more impressed with his pure passion and emotion shown on the field.

If there is any way we can get this young man on our books it should be done. I echo what Charlie says, get behind the team in any way we can for the rest of the season and help our BOM have the best possible position to make this happen.

Thank you Tom, it is a pleasure to see you play your heart out for our team. You are a class act mate.

There is no doubt that the lad likes it here. Just watching Moggies postsatch celebration clip and he is in with the crowd hugging and having his picture taken with fans. Can't say a bad word about the bloke. When I see Penky I'm going to give him a big hug for his performance. I have been his biggest critic but not anymore.
