I would be very wary of a big name like Mr John comming to the LSV. It's either that the venue is cheap to rent compared to others or cancellation is even cheaper. Loss of voice is akin to weather insurance in my trade and if they don't have it kiss goodbye to your money. Just saying.

Well if they sell 10000 or so tickets plus the Corporate boxes (already sold out) that's almost half a million.



Should Elton decide to cancel I am prepared to sing a few songs' always provided I will be able to get the 10 o clock bus home.I hate having to rely on the last bus.

I understand it has a 20000 plus capacity for this gig, and the boxes were £5k plus vat with corporate at £200 plus vat per head. It will be sold out before Sunday

Got a phone call this morning from an ex work colleague who asked me to get him 4 tickets 4 this event. I asked another friend in Leigh to book them online. Seems all the £45 tickets are gone so he got my mate in Manchester the 4 tickets at £268.75 including postage





I told my ex work colleague and he said fine. I then told him Leigh Centurions are cheaper and better to watch if he ever wants a ticket for one of our games.

Lets now hope that that they can get Leigh's very own Lottery winners as a support act and we've cracked it, now there is a band I'd pay good money to watch ,good mates of mester Parker too I do believe

Not sure they're entirely the same sort of scene. Would be great if we could get the Lottery Winners or Jeremiah Ferrari to play before a game at the LSV though.

Got my tickets today -Ticketmaster a pain in the ass, but are you saying that if he cancels ticket money may not be refunded

If there is a 20,000 capacity and with tickets going at £45, £65 and £80 pounds as well as the corporate side this event will probably gross app £1,250,000 (yes million) then throw in the extras it will come to quite a sum.



My niece could only get the £80 (gross £90) today at lunch time, I have just been on the Park Hotel site just to see if I could book a meal prior to the match(I will be there) and I noticed that all rooms are fully booked.



Should be quite a night. Well done Leigh, I hope the club get a good payday.

You have to apply for your money back and if the promotion company goes belly up, you are then a creditor. They rarely get paid. Maybe just that the venue is cheap who knows.

That's why the tickets I have purchased are on a credit card.



Have to say however I think the idea that any pop star would pull out of this now especially when this one is told about how the sale of tickets for this event are going.
