A big well done to the club for getting the players signed up ASAP. This current team has been a joy to watch so far, so much pride, passion and togetherness plus a whole bunch of skill and it's great that the players are eager to commit to the club for the longer term too.







Also, I think it's fantastic that Pownall has signed for 3 years, fantastic young local talent and I tip him to be on the radar of SL clubs nearer to the end of that deal, been really impressed by him.

Smart move by the club announcing these signings prior to this game. Hunslet at home on a Sunday was always going to be a turn off with the fans. This may create some chatter around town this weekend and reduce some of the drop off.

Do you know I don't think your far off the mark there. Good PR lifts any business , especially sports businesses. All this is good news and lets hope C&W that it does put a spark of interest into a few more peoples heads in the surrounding areas.

The Beswick signing is the key one here. He's a very clever operator and one of the best pivot players in the comp. Tommy G1 has been v good since walking through the doors and I thought he was our MOM last week v Leeds.



Personally, and I know I don't pass too much comment on here these days but happy with all those players pinning their colours to the mast... points to very much to a playing and coaching staff that are together.
