Judging from that pic and the video I think the try should have stood, the ref did get it wrong and the ball was grounded... just!. But I think half the crowd agreed with the ref at the time (me included) and there was no reason for him to be such a smart ar$e other than him being on the wind up as per. He can't be doing stuff like that again and i'm sure he wont, it was stupid.



That said, I love Barlow, his antics are great, his discipline has been surprisingly good ever since he got here and despite the best efforts of the opposition he winds them up a lot more than they wind up him.



On the playing front he has exceeded all expectations. For me he was the best forward in the Championship last year and he's carrying on in the same form so far this year too.

The Rules of Rugby League state, It matters not which way a person is facing as long as the ball is touched down on the floor on or behind the goal line, Sean Penky has posted a picture on Twitter that for me shows the ball on the floor, not that it matters as the guy in the middle said NO and he is the only one who's opinion is worth a damn at the end of the day.

In other words if it aint on the scoreboard then it don't count, as for 'showboating' well thats a personal choice but lets face it we all love it when it's done by one of our own and hate it when done against us.
