Born in Firs, brought up on Laxey Crescent, moved to Lanzarote for 8 years, came back to Leigh, then moved to Burnley, then back to Leigh, then Newport South Wales, then back home to Leigh about 10 years ago and will never live anywhere else.

Born in the family home on firs lane near the laundrette.Bought my house about a hundred meters away, apposite the petrol station,then bought a property down Barker st about 50 meters from the family home

Born at Firs, lived on Mill Lane off Chapel Street for the first few weeks of my life, then on Holden Road until 1977 when I went to Uni. Lodged a bit at home when I got my first job in Preston, moved there in 1982, then to London and Brummagem. Been here since 1990, so longer than I lived in Leigh, I'm afraid. Wife and kids all born here but well aware of the important things in life.

Born in Birkenhead, early years in Thatto Heath then moved to Lowton and initially watched saints as my old man was a saints fan but then started to watch Leigh as i could get there on the bus on my own and been a fan ever since. Lived in York for last 21 years and sadly work and kids mean I get to see very few games back home these days. Still a fan of the greatest game and occasionally pop down to watch York Knights but may pop over for the game on Friday!

The important question we all want to ask is, have you brought them up to like pasties or pies?

Parents born and grew up in Golborne. I was born in Culcheth but we bought and moved to the family shop on Stonecross Lane, Lowton at aged 8. Moved to Pennington at aged 18. Went to Golborne Comp, played my rugby there, and at Leigh Rangers then at Leigh Colts. Worked and lived in and around WI&an until 1995 when I emigrated to Vancouver, Canada. Been here ever since and have lived in a great town called Tsawwassen for the last 12 years.

First watched Leigh week in, week out, behind the sticks, at aged 3 with my Dad and uncle (his ashes were buried on the Hilton Park pitch) My Dad still goes to almost every game as he has for close to 70 years !!

Thanks to Fred Parky DVD,s, this website, Leigh Updates and Leigh Radio I keep up to date and informed for every game even though the kick off is usually 7 am for me !
