Honestly, I don't think any person that consistently meets the criteria on that list would recognise the traits in themselves, because quite frankly they probably spend most of their time sedated with medical supervision in a cozy wing at Leigh Infirmary. Why they give them access to a PC, I will never know.
The biggest problem is that there's been a sharp decline in the quality of debate on this board in the last 18 months. Good debate used to make it worth the hassle, but now threads tend to go something like this...
"I hate the club because of blah blah blah!"
"You're wrong"
"You're an idiot"
"Yeah but, something completely unrelated. Random insult"
"In joke that 3 people understand"
[repeat "Everyone ranting over and over, 90% not listening to anything anyone else says, unless they can get deeply offended and upset by it."
"Take something out of context. Insults."

| I have to agree with Mr Ward regarding the Baiting, posturing and down right aggressive & abusive insults that are thrown around if you disagree with or question some posts. don't even mention the dummy spitting & taking the ball home . I think we should drag Gav back(kicking & screaming if needs be) |

The problem as I see it, is that most of the people on here are sychophants to the new BoM, and say how marvelous they are regardless of what they do. Anyone who disagrees with this view, regardless of the logical or otherwise argument they put forward is personally insulted.
Personaly I think some of what the new Bom have done is fantastic, I'm pleased with the signings we've made, for example. I'm less happy wth some other aspects. This is a free, unofficial forum on which I, and anyone else, should be able to express their views. Just becuse you don't agree with me, doesn't make me any less a Leigh fan. |

One of the main reasons I hardly look on this forum anymore is becuase of some of the posters.
It has already been mentioned but if you have an opinion that knocks the club you get the response 'could you do any better' or 'your not a true Leyther'
There is a clique as much as they like to deny it, of people who have inside knowledge and no matter what the club do it is good. These are the same people who love to show they have news about the club but never say what. Either keep quiet or say what you know. this is NOT an offical club forum so if they don't want it to get out they should keep quiet themselves.
Either that or every thread gets turned into a 'SalfordLad owes me a pint' thread. nothing against you, its the people who bring it up that are frustrating!

Remember the days when this forum was full of posts longing for a board that communicated with punters and was willing to inject cash and take the club forward?
12 months ago there was a thread on here asking for people to put their hands in their pockets and see if they had any loose change to buy a telly for in the club shop. Fast forward to today and the club is making all the right noises with a nice layer of dust now gathering on the collection buckets, yet there is more negativity than at some of the club's darkest hours!
