If they allow you to do it they create a precedence which would see anyone lending their season ticket to anyone when they cant use it, much better if you asked for free tickets for children to use in a raffle.

That happens a lot, I have used friends season tickets at Warrington, United & Wigan Athletic.

I never said it didn't happen its a risk anyone takes who uses one against the terms and conditions of issue but an organisation like LISA shouldn't be put in a position of breaking terms and conditions as most are non transferable and as such criminal proceedings can (notice CAN not WILL) be taken against both the user and the the holder -The Fraud act 2006.

I'm not going to argue legalities on here as this topic has been done to death elsewhere but by using a non transferable ticket it COULD be deemed obtaining services by deception. The Police and CPS may not take any action as it is hardly the crime of the century, but the club could seize the ticket and take out a private summons.

But if people feel it's right to commit fraud especially against their club that's their conscience, plus it may not be in the terms and conditions but I would be very surprised if it isn't.

Would the club that is being 'frauded' rather have an empty seat or someone sat in it who pays for refreshments, programme and draw tickets. On all the occasions that I used a mate's season ticket I wouldn't have gone otherwise.

Most footie grounds also have scanners that work, unmanned turnstiles for matchday tickets, not someone ripping a stub off and then giving it you back.

LSV should not be having any issues, its proven technology up and down the country, season tickets should be cards and the scanning system should work.

I think if you told the club what you where doing Lynda there wouldn't be a problem, in my opinion of course. After all it's all going to the club anyway!
