Lynda, I say this is the best possible spirit, but stop taking life so seriously and stop taking everything to heart, even stuff that isn't aimed at you. And I say that as someone who hasn't been posting much recently and certainly hasn't been involved in any of the threads that seem to have caused any recent disputes. We all want our club to progress, but let's just try and have a laugh at the same time?

Couldn't agree anymore with this post if I tried, it just seems half of the threads are ending in petty name calling or cryptic cheap shots, people have to lighten up, we're just fans of a rugby club, nothing more and nothing less. Yes, some of us raise a few quid throughout the season, some of us dont go to games some go home and away, most of us spend a fortune supporting Leigh throughout the season.



I think sometimes we just have to read our messages back before we submit them and think how they might be perceived to other people, I'm the first to admit I just like winding people up from time to time, normally people I know, but its just harmless banter most of the time. When I'm reading posts from some users it's like reading things from a old school headmaster, theres no need for any it, like I say, we aren't running the club (most of us anyway) we're just fans, is logging in to the site and having a slanging match with somebody you dont know, really worth getting ill for?

Well, as someone in 2008 who was, for a good while the most prolific poster on the whole RLFANS site, even more than Oldham Rhino and Pariah, there are two main reasons I lurk, but cant be bothered anymore....



To me, 49 per cent of posters on this site are in their own little "clique"



Also, 49 per cent talk Bo$$ox, and just want to be wind up merchants!

Spot on Joan, some of the "banter" has become boring and repetitive: so much so that I wonder if that clown is in love with that Salford man

I've never really understood what people get out of calling people on here, its like doing it behind their backs…………………………





Its much more fun when you can see the expression on their face.

The obvious cliques are what make me comment rarely these days,the lack of banter with other clubs fans is probably why some wind up fellow Leythers.



What totally winds me up is the "I know something but can't say brigade" if you can't share it don't mention it.
