What I struggle to comprehend more than anything is that a good number of our supporters will have pre planned their Easter activities by checking the upcoming fixtures on the website and then pre planning accordingly.



Those of us who would have done that recently would have established that we played Monday at 3pm, Not many supporters would have then found it necessary to double check that information.



Attempting to change it to a 2pm KO 'under the radar' so to speak of loyal supporters makes absolutely no sense what so ever.



Not one of our group was actually aware the kick off had been changed to 2pm. If that is the case what are the chances that the wider community we are aiming to appeal to will? Even if some did (which is debatable) to then move the fixture into direct competition with Man Utd v Chelsea is crazy.



The ability of the club to continually aim shots down at it's feet lately without missing is staggering.

Maybe Workington asked for the change, when it was changed to 2 pm was before the united v Chelsea date was known , so not Leighs fault if so, perhaps we can request it going back to 3 maybe.

Then again you can't please all the people all the time.

We not just have a late turnstile for this one, as if whistling wren had game on you could watch united ko 12.30 then lea be straight after missing just 20 mins unless it goes to extra time.

Just found a fixture card for this year which I got some weeks ago and it does state a 2pm kick off for April 1st so it hasn't just been changed like I thought

In which case there shouldn't have been any mention anywhere of 3pm!

And if there was in error, then an announcement to advise people that the game was advertised incorrectly on the official site should be made. Just in case people are not aware there was an error and still turn up expecting a 3pm KO





I still feel if we persevere with the clash with Manchester United then it will have a drastic affect on the attendance. Even regulars on here have stated they will be (or know of a regular who will be) who will now be watching Manchester Uniteds FA cup semi final instead.

Can see it now, 400 fans legging it from the Wren to catch the last 15mins of the first half of Leigh V Workington due to the massive importance of this fixture





I bet the board are not even aware of this concern!!!!! (well TB maybe).

It's so annoying when they drain LISA's funds then do something that could waste about £3K of the £15K we gave them (based on a couple of hundred 'lost' fans).

BBC are showing united game get it on in bars and. Under concourse, you could even delay ko off till 2.15!!!!!!

Fans can come in ground Leigh don't lose on attendance and lsv make money on the bars etc jobs a good un offers on beer etc jugs of ale let's make it a great day out !

Showing Fergies little overpaid darlings on tv in the Lsv would result in a late arrival from me.

Give fans no excuses though whether your a utd fan or not !

I would imagine that ITV will not be chuffed if the BBC are showing the game in bars.
