Never considered Tony Iro, good call, great player and a hard man who I should imagine if he said its Tuesday then believe it and he would command respect because of his pedegree and best of all he has proven coaching abillity and also his Leigh Heritage Number and Tie.

You know what my thoughts were going into the game last Sunday, i.e. I thought we'd (Fev) would lose by 10-12. Having said that as I said to Frank I was disappointed to be behind at half time. I again thought we were the better side in the second half as well, tho I then thought we had lost when Hansen went through only to be pulled back.



All the same i think this is a bit of a bold statement, but happy to be the underdogs at the moment.



But here is some food for thought, we (Fev), now have the following games left against the other teams likely to finish in the top 6 (in no particular order):

Toronto Home & Away

Toulouse Away

Leigh Home

London Home

Halifax Away & Blackpool



Assuming that we can win a couple of those (obviously I have written Blackpool off already) and that we win our remaining fixtures against the other sides that are likely to be in the bottom six. Then this will give Fev a 17 wins 6 losses record, This doesn't guarantee the top 4, but would have been good enough in all the years the middle 8s have been running.

PS I still think that Leigh will make a big impact in the middle 8 come the end of the season.

Dave , meeting up with you , John, Gingy,Sydnee,and the rest of the Fev lads made the week end a good one even though we lost,look forward to Blackpool.

As for the game I agree I to thought HHanson had stole the game, it was that close,your views on Fev's remaining games are very interesting,you deserve your time in the Limelight, I was just winding Robin up , as I know him to well, such a modest guy.

In the heat of the moment, and qn upsurge in blood pressure ,I didn't see a free kick awarded,I'm a Clown, not an observation expert,whatever the reason for the decision,it cost us the 2 points.And I'm glad you enjoy such a vaunted position in the West Stand.

I've just checked the game on LCTV. The ref gave a forward pass, with Fev feeding the scrum (about 1hr 33mins on the recording) Are you confusing this one with the Fev try he disallowed in the first half, for crossing? We got a penalty for that one.

I think Leigh will win with a bit to spare on Sunday 14-18 points, from what I have seen of both sides to date this year. Though I got it wrong last weekend so don’t listen to my predictions.
