Given the counter-attractions, weather and very limited support from 'Haven, (substantially less than from Batley, in my opinion) I would think the BOD would be happy with that sort of percentage increase.

Haven fans only really travel in numbers here if the pies are at home in the same weekend. They make a weekend trip of it. Being a bunch of not reets they think tha Leigh is the other side of the world.

Let's just keep above 2,000 and work from there.

I think that's a cracking attendance. You carry on playing the stuff you're doing when the warm weather comes you'll be looking at 2,500. Featherstone & Leigh clearly getting things right at this crucial crossroads of the game.

Oh I could never abandon my team. I survived the debacle of 2003, only missed one match due to a holiday. There are many resilient RL fans. Just look at the Bradford Bulls example. OK, they've lost a few thou but still holding onto 5,000 diehards after the mauling that their club has taken. That's pretty commendable stuff.

I think when the weather gets warmer , and the Soccer season ends our crowds will go up , the BOM are doing everything to try to improve the Matchday experience , and have done so , yesterday one of our Party attended a Leigh game for the first time in his life , he has a season ticket at Old Trafford , but really enjoyed the experience and said he will definitely return very soon .When word spreads about the type of flowing rugby we are playing at the moment the crowds will return .Charlie knows .

We just need to remember it takes time. I am a returning fan who has been sporadically over the last 10 years. Been to two pre-season games and both home league matches. You need to get others like me back, as well as new fans, but it takes time. Progress is happening.

Think we could push the 2500 mark for the north wales games,as they tend to travel in numbers.



To be honest at the moment some of the game are still no contest,hoping next year with the 2 super league teams dropped in will spice up the season because as it stands this leigh team will take any team apart this season in our league.



Thought our discipline was disappointing the second half and such the game fell apart



Hopefully we can keep most of this squad and stick 2-3 more quality players in the team to help us step forward with the new format in a couple of seasons time
