this guy just loves mithering folk , most ignore him on the Leigh message board ,in fact they ignore him on the Fax Board as well.

The simple fact is that all of this stems from how Leigh conduct themselves on and off the field. On the field you have by far the worse disciplinary record in the league. Off the field you have a director of rugby who thinks it perfectly acceptable to physically threaten and intimidate fans both on social media and in person. When confronted with these FACTS you immediately blame everyone but your own club, label it jelousy and claim that everyone is out to get you.



Some fans made a contribution to whatever the fund was called the last time you had financial difficulties (myself included), now you have found some money and success the club is not acting with respect for this league and its fans (I was even abused by your DoR). You are all happy to jump on Bracek's back for stupid immature twitter posts but how many of you do the same for your precious financier week after week?



Regarding the drugs rumours, I doubt there is as much truth to it as is being made out, but the reason people are so eager to believe it is because of the reasons I mentioned above. I personally want the rumours to be true, because I would love to see Derek Beaumont ridiculed, I do not have the sentiment towards any other person invovled in rugby league, and that is a reflection on how your club is percieved at this point in time.

This post seems to come from a very bitter man,will these remarks upset any Leythers ?I'm sure they won't, anyone who really knows Derek will know what feelings he has for Leigh Centurions and how far the Club has come in the past couple of years,it seems to me Fax Fans don't like Leigh because of where we are ,TOP OF THE LEAGUE,get over it Nat.

I sincerly hope these rumours are NOT true.

I have stated to Ian that I like many others cannot believe you are working within the salary cap, but in truth that as someone might say could be sour grapes.

My advise for what it's worth, enjoy your season, a great crowd the other day, it would have been more but I understand Sheffields other taxi broke down on the way.

A lot of bitterness about, shame for Rugby League, good luck.

All the ant-Leigh stuff is pathetic talk about over hyped statements,"dirtiest team in all my 40 years of watching rugby","vile fans who everyone hates","drug cheats" etc etc.



Let me make some true statements that are facts not fiction:-

WE are one of the few teams to beat a SL team in the cup and to underline this great achievement we did it twice

WE are playing some of the best rugby in any division, polar opposite to the 5 drives and a kick that has drove fans away from the terraces and watching it on TV

WE have increased our support incredibly over the last few years with a massive change in demographics with kids now demanding to go and watch Leigh

WE have had more sent off and carded against us than we have incurred ourselves (discipline does need improving though)

WE are Lancastrian and no surprise most of the hatred comes from our cousins over the wrong side of the hill

WE as Leigh fans are blessed at present and should embrace the moment ,it won't last forever but lets grasp it and to hell with what others think about us

John thank you and it's nice to see Fax at the correct end of the table , i can only presume that Nat has had bad experiences at Leigh Derek is very very passionate about Leigh and he does boil over from time to time but if you care passionately about something, have as much riding on it as he does i think you would as you could say "lash out" at people or a person you perceive to be damaging the very thing you have so much invested in(i think you would have to be a saint not to ). My own personal experience with Derek is that he is usually polite , humble and generous but very driven and direct. If a person constantly gets wound up by events, barriers or other people quite often when you do snap it's not always at the person or situation that really deserves it in my experience, as for contributing to collections to help other clubs it doesn't seem that long ago that Fax were collecting regularly through a season or two, which most of us ( rugby league fans) contributed to without hesitation, because we love the game and love the competition in fact i think most clubs have had to have collections to help clubs make ends meet in recent history.
