Great to see the LSV full tomorrow.

It is full but not exactly a sell out.

Maybe neither of the above, Reffy. Might be a full take-up of tickets, but how many of those were snaffled by overenthusiastic fans hoping, after the rallying cries on this forum and elsewhere, to fill LSV, or indeed by scavenging touts. Bongser checked out which of his crew could make it before booking tickets and his allocation will, barring sudden calamity all be taken, wearing C&W and braying like the donkeys we are. I REALLY DO HOPE that the place is fuller than a Camel One special kebab, but mostly I hope for a home victory to inspire the first timers.



Go Leythe and, possibly for one time only, go Bladdersveldt.

I thought about getting 'one extra ticket' for my BIL who is a Saints fan but in the end just took my usual 3, me, the Dragon & Jr Centurion as I didn't get a reply quick enough when I asked if he wanted a ticket.



I hope I am wrong but I expect a good few empties where some greedy freeloaders have failed to take up their seats & failed to return them to the Club for reallocation to proper fans.



Still, the good RL fans 'of any Club' will easily outnumber them.



Will be amazing to see around 11,000 in the LSV.



Anyone know what the record is for a fixture between 2 Championship/2nd Division teams is ?

Suspect Cas v Hull KR in the Northern Rail cup final was the biggest.

Ours will probably be a Leigh record at the LSV and that's about it, not that long ago I'd have been happy to see us average 1,500 at the LSV let alone wonder if we'll break any attendance records!

Classy of Leigh to bar all of batleys players and staff from the bar post game. Makes your club look tinpot and petty. Hope every SL club pay you the same compliment when you play next year but I doubt they will as they are professionally run

John Kear was invited on stage and presented with an award from the club for his services to Rugby League so I am guessing that isn't entirely true?

Guess SL players don'the miss the urge to drink like Championship players. Seemed to be a full table of Batley directors/officials enjoying the clubs hospitality pre game. One of the few clubs who have done that this season.

As a matter of interest, do any of the players go in the 'bar' after the game - or is it the banqueting suite? (cafe, to Rhinos' supporters!

) I always thought the after-match presentations/speeches were in the banqueting suite?
