After watching the match last night, if it was me choosing I'd certainly pick Lids. Yes it was a good close game last night but at the end of the day Saints attack wasn't exactly great and offered very little threat, and to be fair the Lids threat wasn't much better. No brainer for me, forget the "mind" games, Lids look very beatable and Wire have just battered them and to rub salt into the Lids wounds/ego's Lee Briers took the title of TMFMISL off Ryan (legend in his own lunchtime) Bailey after slapping that other well known coward Carl (please don't hurt me) Ablett











I really wish it was us who could choose to play them, but we threw that chance away last week.

I'd bet my backside in Manchester Wire would pick Leeds.

I'm not bothered who we get but I think wire will pick Leeds. They'd rather face Leeds at home than at OT. Leeds have just been in a tough game against a team who lacked any kind of creativity and who they should have beaten a lot more comfortably. They've got injury worries to two of their first choice back rowers, maguire looks crocked, Watkins took a knock and they have a day less to recover.

We just have to hope grix and taai are ok

And add to that we have a better record at old Trafford than Warrington



Another 18-0 would be perfect.

l booked my flights and transfers 6 weeks ago, before l heard of this Thursday rubbish, so l am desperately hoping Wolves do the right thing and pick Rhinos, or l,m screwed.

I really wouldn't want to be in Wire's position. On the Wire Board one poster suggested they should toss a coin and I'd do this if I were them. I think it's a 50/50 which way they will go and a coin toss avoids them giving added motivation to whoever they chose and will help push the RFL to get rid of this awful gimic.



Having said that, I hope they pick us as I'll struggle to get to Wigan on Friday! I honestly think as long as we do ourselves justice we stand a great chance whoever we play.
