Quote jools="jools"damned if they do - damned if they don't Brearley.
For all we know Larne could be causing problems in the dressing room. Just because the club don't tell us the full story doesn't mean we need to know.
We don't always know, and in many cases we don't need to. It wasn't the club who broadcast the details of the Ferres problem for instance - that was the tabloids. We didn't find out details of the allegations against Greg Johnson, or the issues with player(s)being interviewed by the police in the offseason at Newcastle. The club, unlike some, don't like to air dirty linen in public as innocents could be harmed.
Of course the reason they are "letting Larne go" may just be because the club want to keep good relationships with players, agents and other clubs as it may help us in the future!!!!!
If they bring in someone like tickle then they show no ambition, if they go with the youngsters then they show no ambition, if they wait until the right player comes along then they show no ambition.
of course what they should be doing is signing up Chris Hill, Alex Walmsley and John Bateman immediately and if they don't then they show no ambition.....'"
That's the biggest load of twaddle I've ever heard. This is a Rugby League forum a place for debate not just a place where people come with rose tinted glasses.
Any member has a right to state their opinions as you do Jools but your post is pure supposition and two fingers to anyone who has a differing opinion to you.
For the record Ta'ai is not a prop he's a wide running powerful second rower look what happened to David Fa'alago who we converted to a prop he left because his performance level dipped and he picked up injuries.
Whilst in the 'short term' it's a fix we then weaken another area of the team if we move Ta'ai.
We have three props fit Rapira, Crabtree and Johnson Mason is a back rower who like Johnson is yet to mature into consistency.
No one expects the club to sign players that are not available but it doesn't stop us being concerned that we are short of at least four players now.
Even you Jools can't blame the fans for this it was the coaches/clubs choice to do this even knowing Robbo was crocked.
Whilst you can't legislate for Ferresgate injuries are a natural occurance in contact sport and as we have been lucky in the last two to three years we have been caught with 'our pants' down this time and paying the price at the bottom of the league.
Ignoring its happening ain't going to fix it any more than debating who and when we might sign someone.
