Absolutely spot on.....some of our fans are making such a huge fuss out of something that we all expected anyway and like someone has said, we would do exactly the same if roles were reversed.

Wigan part proved it last week, Wire proved it in the CC and they will nail it down this Thursday.



We finished first last year but Wire and Leeds were both better sides ultimately.

Last year is last year, you said if it was about finishing top, Wigan, Wire and Leeds would be above us in the table, Wigan was 7 points a drift, with us putting out the kids in the last meaningless game, Leeds 5 points and Wire came closest but was sorted a week early, next..............

LMAO, I only want to win the GF so I can again say the LLS means more to me than a 4 game end of season play off!!

I think Batley and the way they have got to their Final proves the league and play offs should be viewed as totally seperate competitions and fair play to them for doing so but Featherstone have been the best side in the Championship for years but rarely win it and that is an anomoly that the game just has to live with as with the SL playoffs Leeds peaking in September/October and winning it most years.



I guess the jostling for positions makes it fun but at the end of the day some teams thrive at this time of year and some do not and the system leaves it wide open for debate as no one seems to be capable of being the best of the best and bagging a "double". And under the current format perhaps that is no surprise.

I have never seen so much winging, if you are the best team lets see you win the GF !! I am not sure you will get past Warrington let alone get to the GF. If you do get past the Wire it will be interesting to see how you go against the 7 times GF winning team.
