Rovers are no mugs and took us to the cleaners last season

Hull kr struggle for consistency .. they are abit like cas, good in attack but dodgy in defence, all said we should be winning this one and keeping pressure on wigan at the top.



they have patterson who looks a really good player and needs to be kept quiet along with dobson.



high balls to eden and hodgson please!!!!!!!!! just attack them and 9/10 will come up trumps.



always rated alex brown was abit unlucky jerry came along at the same time.



hear that hull kr are bringing 6000 fans over so should be a good crowd.

well now that we have a decent cup draw i would suggest full strength for this game rest players against batley and bring them back for catalan, hull kr will punish us if we are not up to the scratch

A lot of players with a point to prove against us, hodgson, Carlisle, brown, Horne, walker, eden and playing at the John smiths won't hold any fear for them. We have to close down Dobson, stop the offloads and hit them hard early. IF we play as we can we should win this, but we will have to put in a good performance.

Think we need to be a bit more cute than just bomb Eden all game, sure he will probably drop a few but that does not guarentee points in itself and we need to concentrate on what we do well and not get too distracted in being one dimensional and not doing what comes naturally.



I also would worry if every time we are on the last KR's forwards know exactly what will happen as they may well see it as a chance to take out a few free hits on Broughy.

I've seen Eden drop one ball all season and that was when he fell to his knees. The only high balls he struggles with is the ones he fails to go for and decides to leave so I'll be more then happy if you kick to him.



Now Eden and a lose carry is another matter altogether.

He may not have dropped many but he hasn't had broughy kick to him yet. Leaving kicks will work for us too.we know from experience He's too dumb to lack confidence so he won't be nervous if he makes mistakes.

Kicking early will work as his positional sense shows his inexperience.

It's what he can do with ball in Hand we need to watch.

Rovers are a very dangerous team in attack and more importantly if they get some tries will just grow and grow



Our defence across the park needs to be spot on

unlikely you will see resting players vs batley, wont be easy, will be a full team sent.

maybe not bomb eden so much but certainly hodgson and attack his side, shocking in defence he is.

No he isnt. He is actually good under the high ball and is a good tackler.

All we need to do is stop the ball getting to him, he'll be useless then
