Really. An England knights player in a position that the club has no cover for to be replaced by a Loose forward who couldn't get in to a shockingly poor Leeds team.

Trout is a very good prospect and was well thought of at Leeds.

He played for Dewsbury last season but did not rip up any trees.

Saying that I still feel he had a future at Leeds.

Ok then we should have kept an unhappy Leeming for this year, had him potentially disrupting the squad and let him go for free at the end of this season. Then everyone could have moaned some more ?

Totally agree an unhappy player is only going to cause disruption. Trout looks a fine prospect. As for hooker the club may still be looking for a replacement or alternatively Frawley, Holmes and Russell all have experience of playing there so to suggest we have no cover for O Brien is not true.

Got to agree, i would have preferred him to want to stay but he didn't so time to move on, and anyway we have lost plenty of better players in the past who wouldn't have minded staying and we do as you say have options. Myself i'm more concerned about building a strong pack then everybody has a chance to play better.

For years on here Jools has argued with folk who have used the term “let go” when referring to players going elsewhere.

She has rightly so pointed out that we cannot keep players who don’t want to be here.

However she is now contradicting herself because it’s golden boy Leeming.

He’s an average hooker at best. If he was anything better Wigan, saints and half the NRL would be after him.

Secondly he’s not young. He’s 24. Made his debut 7 years ago and not progressed like he should. Remember Lunt at 24, or Roby, or Clark or any other top hooker.



Finally, he’s had his head turned. That’s fine, his choice. He clearly has no loyalty as he has jumped ship at the first opportunity. The club made him what he is, but not to worry.



He’s made it clear he wants to leave so I’d make him train with the kids until Leeds pay what we want.

I’d have him nowhere near the first team.



If they don’t offer what we want. Let him see his contract out in the reserves.
