I thought Wigan's defence was outstanding tonight, they proved they still are the team to beat and have kicked on from last year. Thought the packs both battled well for the full 80 mins but our back line fell short of the mark to beat Wigan's defence. The difference tonight really was Wigan's ability to soak up the pressure and then take their chances when they arrived.

Was dissappointed with Cudjoe tonight, didn't appear to have his head in the game unfortunately.

your right side was not effective. Cudjoe is not a centre & Simpson cudnt lace McGillavreys boots

was our try a try or not?.. my picture wasnt clear and eddie and stevo were of different opionions, it looked a very close call to me from what i could see

For me it looked to go though Gilmour's hands as the ball didn't really seem to change direction.



50/50 call - No clear reason not to give it and advantage goes with the attacking team so it was a try.

That was brutal by both sides

No complaints from me, one side took its limited chances, one side didnt

Scoreline definately flattered us though, where did Brough go 2nd half? He was a real thorn in our side in the first with those high bombs, then they just stopped.

How long was the ball in play for, I can't remember very many scrums and other than that there were a few drop outs but that was about all the rest the players had.

not too down after that two good teams imo, we created a lot more than wigan overall but couldnt execute the plays , fair play to the pies think they only had 4 chances and took 3 of em, where as we blew plenty, wether that was down to some superb goal line defence from wigan or poor execution from us, for me thought we deserved a point out of that but never mind long way to go yet. thought charnley and oloughlin we great for wigan, odonnell. faalogo and robbo and grix good for us
