Can't be having a team whose finished 1st, 3rd, 3rd in consecutive seasons taking part. If we did the double they'd still find a way of not letting us play !!

Doesn`t look like we declined it by the statement from the RFL. Disgracefull decision.

Not correct. We did decline it last year as we were asked to donate £75K towards the prize money, but we have not been invited this year which is an absolute disgrace and just shows the RFL to be what they are, totally corrupt and unable to organise a pee up etc.

I'm not a fan of union but having seen glimpses of their WC they are much more professional in everything they do, from the RU management to the Refs. They make our bunch of clowns look totally inept and the world series selection of Saints proves it

Well rumors abound, You claim we turned it down last year, Others on here claim we didn't, I don't see us ever getting the truth, What I do see is We didn't play in it last year and we aren't going too this year.



So once again the people who turn up all season and help to pay the wages are the ones who lose out on the chance to see their team line up against some of the best players in the world.



If the club have declined, then that is crap, but they will never admit to it because of the effect on ST sales. If they have been screwed by the RFL and do not make an almighty stink over it, then I would think that will have pretty much the same effect on ST sales, because it will demonstrate the complete lack of ambition by the club.



We hold ourselves in readiness.

I think the club has to put out a statement tomorrow clarifying exactly what has happened.

And the players as well. Jerry has just signed the rest of his career to the club. That lad deserves to be playing on the big stages, and matches against the NRL minor premiers won't come along that often. I'd be very ed off if I were him.



I think either the RFL or the club has let the players down as well as the fans.

If you turned down the chance to support it last year, don't be amazed that you weren't top of the list for am invite this year.



I wouldn't be surprised if you have turned it down again, will look forward to hearing what your club have to say (did they say anything last year?)
