The stick has been aimed at Nathan Brown for moving Bruno from centre to second row. NB was right and the critics were wrong and bruno benefits.

When he moved up to 2nd row from the three quarters he got some criticism until he found his feet iirc.

Agree you can never fault his effort. My only concern is that he can 'disappear' on occasions and I think he is better than that. The new role seems to be working well

You often find that forwards "disappear" though. That's because people often dont appreciate what they actually do-many are workhorses rather than creative players. He can "disappear" for me every week with that defensive effort!

I think part of the problem with the workhorse type player is people tend to judge players on how many superb breaks and scorching runs they make and how many tries they score - i dont theink they realise some players aren't that type of player - Mick De Vere was superb for us doing what he did best - defending, but people automatically expected him to do wonders with ball in hand, i think that was probably the case with Bruno too....folk were expecting him to be like Leroy and be a more attacking player.

You only really notice the true extent of the workload that such players as Bruno put in when they aren't selected. Then you really appreciate their contribution to the team.
