You have to learn to lose before you learn to win. We're not a million miles away but ultimately tonight we were out-enthused and still had too many jitterers.



I would personally have had Lunt on much sooner second half.

You need to learn to win, simple as. You've been learning to lose big games for a number of years and the next step must be taken this year IMO.

We do need to make that step, no doubt, but play off experience is valuable and a rare commodity. Ultimately we've won in the play offs before. We were 20mins from the GF when Bruno kicked through in the last ever game at Saints and we have won away at Wire in the play offs before.



We are close but ultimately only one side will win the GF.

I called it, as I had a feeling the team was been bigged up too much and was proved right.



I think this loss will actually work in our favour, as its a real reality check, we are more than capable of turning it into a positive, win next week and we're in the semi's same as Wigan.



I do think Leeds or Wire will pick us and the other will make it through to play you so don't get too smug just yet.

Wire or leeds will ppick the lowest ranked team, and since hudds finished top it can't be them.



If hudds win next week you'll be playing wigan away to get to the grand final and that will be harder than the game last night.
