Carter is an honest and decent guy and is doing his best to sort out a new stadium to play in. The 2m+ less we have had than you from the central coffers would have gone along way to getting something done



As for the shake field reference all we have done is help a fellow RL club out as opposed to asset stripping them like your lot did whilst claiming a 1m quid from the rfl in the process

tricky if you and cronies stay on the Wakey site this stupid we have a better ground than you would not be discussed,but if you look carefully Ken Davey actually saved the ground and town in 2004 and no one team owns the ground in fact we both pay to the KDSL that own it to play there,I for one take no pleasure in the plight Wakey are in but you could have had a ground share with Cas but pride got in the way.

Look back on other threads, this ground issue was started by giants fans all I have done is point out the flaws in their arguments and advised them of the situation you could be in given the current state of play re the john smiths.

The problem seems to be a delusion of grandeur on the part of some of your fans because you had a few good seasons competing at the top end of the table and play in a nice (albeit far too big) ground for you) you think your better than you actually are

Sorry to disagree chum but if you read most of the threads on here we know we are in a period of rebuilding under a new coach.



We have had massive injury problems for two consecutive seasons the second row I had great hopes for has played one match our star full back only nine but from where we were several months ago 8th is quite a lofty position and rightly so as you have performed better than us you are in 5th place.



But in the last ten years we have appeared in two cup finals, three play off match's with the grand final as the prize and won the LLS for finishing top of the league over the season. Without being too bitchy we beat you 40-0 to clinch it so comparatively speaking we have done slightly better than you.



We play in a stadium that meets the RFL's standard for Superleague and don't face a switch to playing in another town or hoping the RFL will allow us yet another season in a decaying and decrepit old ground.



So thinking we are better than we are ?? No.... but to be fair you need to take a long hard look at yourselves I wish Wakey no harm but the clock is ticking and your problems are your own not ours so maybe constructive debate and comment should be reserved for your own board cos it's there where the problems seem to be..... leave ours alone ..... unless you want a friendly debate about the outcome on Friday night if you will be there to watch it...... I will and I live 6 miles from Belle Vue these days so it's just as long a journey for me.....
