Why the hell don't we get another couple of competitive games under our belt before the season starts?

I'd say thank god for Wakefield as well, although, thats not on todays score (as i have no idea what that is atm), its just because they're bad....

I don't think any teams got atougher start than you lot. Whther you got into the play-offs isn't going to be decided against Saints & Warrington. Round 5 is when it really starts getting serious for you team. ANy points you pick up between now and then is an added bonus. Catalansa and Hull had awful starts last year and looked how their seasons turned out.

Hell... we were good in the first half but Wolves were world class for the whole game. Such a shame about our sloppy, sloppy errors & that penalty count against us. Sadly nilled because of our tailing off in the second half. And we didn’t complete one set of 6 in the Warrington half in the second period. Disappointing they got a ½ century past us but onto HullFC and a win next week. Warrington 50 (22-10) 10 London.

Let's not get carried away. Last year's start was an aberration. I didn't for one second think we'd beat either Saints or Warrington, and so it isn't a great surprise that we haven't. The Hull game next week is a much better indicator of where we are as a team and our alleged 'top 8' credentials IMO.

So at round 5 we will still be bottom with Widnes





If we win against Hull we will be OK. The newbies will turn up again I guess. We cant let losing become a habit or it could become serious.

It doesnt seem much has changed sadly-50 points isnt acceptable

I reckon it should be a good game. We'll have a point to prove after today.

I was going to try and hold off having a moan to at least the 4th or 5th game if things hadnt changed or got worse.. but i still cant believe with all these new players who were led to believe were much better in defence,but yet we still cant defend out wide, so same old story just with new players. Only thing not changed is the defence coaching team..



Everyone goes on about it take 5 games,well if that is the case and we do lose all 5 of them, then what we 10 points down on the rest and then we lead to believe we make an assault on the top 6/8 (ye right)..



If we lose the first 5 games of the season for the first time i will be one of the first on here asking for Powell to go or at least getting help in. (whats Brian Noble doing these days))
