| The Barnet owner was on the Non League Football Show this morning Came across very well
Didn't mention the Broncos but seemed very switched on as to how to market his team in the saturated London sports market - doesn't think season tickets are a good idea rather go for membership schemes, and firmly believes in operating to strict budgets

Sort of season ticket, without a ticket.

| Quote STEVEL="STEVEL"did you get the important info...Beer types/prices...nearest boozers ect....curry houses???Prioritze Paddock old son...
If we do end up there'"
Nice bar in the ground, obviously not quite Stoop like. As for local stuff it's all a bit suburban. Seems to me that one I turned north of the A40 it was an endless sea of exactly the same looking houses, a sea of suburbia, an ocean of pebbledash. Think it will be the jubilee line back to civilisation for me!

Like a travel pass with a photo which can be scanned at the gate maybe. Saves on printing books of tickets i guess.

| Pubs in the area
There's an Irish Pub on Queensbury Circle next to Queensbury Stn.
There's the Honeypot pub on Honey pot lane opposite Morrisons, they also have an Indian food section
At Honeypot roundabout on Streatfield Road there's another pub and a couple of Indian restaurants.
Half way up Mollison Way there's a parade of shops including takeaways and an Irish pub.
There's the Mason Arms on the A5 in Edgware on the corner
Further down the A5 heading towards Camrose Ave the's The Change of Hart
Personally i'd go to the Honey Pot

| membership schemes can be run differently, Oxford cavaliers its basically like a season ticket with a card rather than tickets, entry to all home game, invites to club events, newsletter, fans forum, discounts in club shop etc etc sounds pretty much like our season ticket
York City knights have a "vice Presidents scheme" same again, tickets to all home games, pre match meal, tickets to events, tickets to other RFL events, discount in the shop, oohh and a vice presidents scarf!
Just a different way of buying a season ticket, saying that York do a season ticket as well

| I bought a Vodafone Warriors Membership this year, then got another one when I purchased the Wellington shirt for the Bulldogs game down here.
Memberships are a great way to encourage occasional fans to buy into something at the start of the season....once they have done this and then attended a few games, the club will contact them with ST offers for future seasons.....it's about habit forming.
There are a hard core 600 or so Broncos fans who attend all home games....these will be the ST holders for 2014 at the Hive and the trick will be to engage the occasionals and newbies, making them feel welcome and getting them interacting with the club. Data collection is key, as is what they do with it!
I like the way this bloke at Barnet operates....he is a real community guy and if he is involved at the club, I can see him tempting a fair few lapsed fans back.

| from what I understand Barnet's membership scheme is pretty much the same as a Season Ticket but with the difference you pay every month by direct debit - a nice way to keep a steady flow of money into the club, even during the offseason. You have to pay an advance when taking it out so it's not worth their fans cancelling in May and taking it out again in August. It'd also no doubt be a way of continuing to take money from fans who havent gotten around to cancelling their direct debit. You can also load up other stuff on your card like away travel etc. You can just be a member without paying for games for a couple of quid a month which gets you 10% off purchases at the ground

Sounds like someone with solid business acumen has set that system up!

| yes, definitely! I'm just the kind of disorganised slob they'd love as well - set the direct debit up and it'd run until the day I die, Broncos attendee or not
