| David Hughes said in his pre season statement
Quote There will be occasions when it may appear to not be working'"
Well Dave.....you got that right
In terms.of seeing out the season?
Hughes also said
Quote I will end by reiterating my earlier statement. I am as committed to the London Broncos as ever and will give my backing to the necessary restructuring and evolution at the Club'"
So unless he lied, 2022 will see a full schedule of games. These may or may not be played at plough Lane, but if Hughes is set on continuing to bankroll the club past 2022 then he needs to have a serious rethink to all aspects of the club.

They sure do and one thing they could do is get someone with a decent brain from outside their bubble to just MOT their decisions before they action them. I can’t help but feel if someone had the detail of the move to PT simultaneous to moving into a big old barn with no marketing or off field effort and a delayed and lacklustre recruitment and retention plan (or as it was probably known “The 2022 growth strategy) they would quickly have identified the flaws and something more nuanced might have happened.

Remember, we are just "a few old whingers on the internet". The sheer lack of respect shown to fans who have spent thousands following the club for decades is now reaping the rewards deserved.
The RFL should be very concerned about events in London. This weekend gone, the 1st team, Academy and London Skolars shipped close to 180 points between them. Skolars will be at the foot of the table with West Wales and Cornwall and we are heading for the trap door. Our Kids have gone from competing to getting hammered (236 points shipped in 4 games).....Union will hoover up the best talent down south unless the RFL ensure a pathway to SL is maintained.
1 man did all this. Imagine how bad it would have been if he didn't like us

| I'm hoping something unique in 2022 happens this weekend. Two possibilities:
1. The first victory by a Men's team at Plough Lane this year. AFC Wimbledon got the first go on Saturday. London Broncos on Sunday.
2. The London Broncos take the lead. I think after 10 matches this season, they have still failed to lead on even a single occasion.

Sadly 1. Will be academic if Fleetwood beat Wednesday tonight & a draw might be enough given your inferior goal difference. As for Saturday, neither Accrington nor Bolton have anything to play for so hope you have your shooting boots on. Wouldn't see the Scum getting anything home to Rotherham but you never know.
As for Sunday if we take the lead the players will all need to be treated for shock. Still not to far to St Georges.

It’s the hope that kills you.
On 2 that’s right. The losses and the way we’ve played have been dire but it’s the almost entire absence of any time period where I think we might win that has made this season such a drag for me.

Right then.
Band booked for post match in The Phoenix. Is it busy in there after games?
Still no kids-zone, but would a late offer to Dons fans on Saturday to come Sunday for a quid work?
Sub 700 gate on Sunday would be horrific, especially if we get the points.......if Dons lose Saturday I'd let their fans in on Sunday for free,

It’s looking like a sub 400 gate at the moment which is a worry.
I accept it’s a positive move but is a post match band a little presumptuous. There’s a fair chance we will lose. Will people stick around? Remember many fans have quite a journey and may be disinclined to stick around in any event. At least it’s an attempt.

| we have not booked tickets yet (only 2). Going to book in community stand I think as my dad is almost 80, and I expect the community stand to be quieter.
We won't be going to the band, on a Sunday evening will take 2 hours to get back home. Will probably buy a couple of tops however (not the awful blue one though)

Bloody hell - you want to add to the misery of the Dons fans by letting them in to see us for free the next day??

Kick'em whilst they're down
If the Dons do go down at the weekend (as is highly likely), I'd expect any inquest in the off season to feature a report on the Pro's & Con's of their new tenants. The break clause works both ways (we are led to believe), so it'll be interesting to see what they make of our first few months and the associated revenues that were apparently splitting with them in terms of bars etc.....I suspect they are as underwhelmed with the income as the London Broncos (Hughes/Loubser) are.
