Well I travel from Chester or Runcorn depending if my son is home from Uni or if I am at work on game day. Either way the Thelwall Viaduct is in the way and then Warrington Road. Not too bad today though despite an accident on the M6 and a queue on the slip road at Wigan.

Not really the same thing, but I spoke to a fella from London on a flight from Chicago who attends every Chicago Bears home games.. He thought Wigan Athletic were the rugby team as well. Knew some of our players names, but mixed us up with the other lot.





I'm in the Caribbean at the mo, so I download the games when the internet is fast enough.



..and the fella from Standish, is my Dad.

Have met the man from cyprus, last home match 2010 at a dinner by the club for those that travel a long way to matches, he is not a myth, but guess he's a bit richer than me.

i now live in Coventry, was at the same dinner in 2010 at last home game.....Used to come from the Village next to Cannock, Huntington and went to Cannock Grammar school....showing my age now as it bacame a comprehensive in 1974
