| I fully expect a table for 4 to be arranged tonight somewhere within LSV, round it will be Mr. Arthur Thomas (Leigh Chairman), Ian Millward, Ian Lenagan and Michael Maguire.
Discussions taking place will be the loaning out of talented Wigan reserve players to Leigh RLFC. This would suit both sides, players experiencing gameplay of a higher intensity than the Reserve leagues which would help our players progress at a far faster rate. For Leigh, the chance to sign temporarily some top class youngsters which will not only help them win games but hopefully put them in good shape when the next franchise lottery results come along.
If I was Leigh Chairman, I would be frothing at the mouth in anticipation tonight!!!!

| I hope it happens - clearly in both clubs interest. A higher level and better experience for our lads future development who won't get first team action this season - additional depth and talent for Leigh who need it.

| I am sure it will be something MaGuire will look at in the forth coming weeks. He will now have a much better idea of how the younger lads are looking and developing. I'm sure the most promising bunch with the most potential may be given some game time at a higher level, but some other lads like Liam Farrell and Ben Davies may be seen as useful now to us and will be kept around the squad.

| Under the dual registration system I'm almost sure there is a limit of 3 players from one club that another club can accept.
Leigh could take a maximum of four but only three could be from Wigan.
I would imagine there may have been people from other Champ clubs at the game having a look who they may possibly take.

At the last Fans Forum in the summer, Ian Lenagan was desperate for Leigh to avoid relegation and admitted that he would love to see Leigh back in Super League performing well - for two reasons. (This caused a bit of light hearted boo-ing around the room ), however it does make sense both financially and tactically.
A small number of Wigan Reserve players on loan to Leigh, playing at a higher intensity would be better than them 'going through the motions' like last season. They would come back to Wigan better players, enabling them to slot straight into the first team squad. He then hoped their presence would assist them into SL, he wants them in Super League and stated it was financially beneficial in them being so, harking back to the days of the Wigan/ Leigh derbys played in front of solid crowds: 4-5,000 screaming leythers in the North Stand as opposed to a few hundred Wakey fans and a good following from Wigan hoping to smash their near neighbours.
So it makes sense for both sides to 'get in bed with each other' for a few seasons. I'm all for it..!!

| It seems only right that certain players get a chance to test themselves at that next level, whether that's with us, a championship team, or another superleague club we'll have to see.
I wonder whether any players after todays performance will have forced there way into contention for a starting spot against Celtic?

In that case it may be none as Warrington are sending 2 or 3 there I think.

| tbh I woul rather see the better youngsters play at Crusaders than Leigh
the result today shows that there is very little difference between NL1 and the standard they are at presently. therefore we should learn from the success of the Mossop loan and send the better squad players out to sides like Cru and Salford.
If we run into injuries, then a few games at SL standard will be better prep than a few games at Leigh standard

Sorry, what I was getting at is they can only take three from an individual club. They could take three from Wigan and one from Wire or the other way round.
As for forcing their way into the squad to face Crusaders, again perhaps the other way round, will they force themselves into the Cru squad to face us?
Bearing in mind what's going on in Wrexham.

If Mr Lenegan and Mr McGuire really did want to help the Leigh club they would have put a better squad out today
Sorry but this is not what was agreed last year , if you intend to do the same next year , dont bother , we dont want you to come here , yes you have 2/3 players in the team today that would improve us , but all that happened today is we were dragged down to the level of your u 18's
If we had played as we did last week we would have put 30/40 points on your juniors
The team put out today showed a lack of respect for the Leigh club
