| good article, but it says Sam Tomkins scored the try of the season against Warrington. surely they mean Huddersfield?
still, at least its nice to see some players getting the recognition they deserve after this year!!

| It is a good read, but the sad thing is that he's probably right.
It's difficult to see two Aussies getting the vote on the trot, when the main other contender this year is a British prop who tends to epitomise the bulldog spirit.
Previously I'd have thought Richards was indeed part of Shaun Wane's jokey "shortlist of one", but now I suspect that Morley will win it (though not as much as I would if Stevo and his quango of Yorkshire journos had still been choosing).

| Could Sam be the first player to get in the dream team in two different positions?

| I'll be amazed if Pat doesn't win MoS this year. I know it's not always about points scored, but every time I've seen him play he has been at a consistently high level. Brilliant player.

| I think if Pat can break Farrel's record on Friday, and the club and media in general make a big enough song and dance about it. It'll push Richards to the forefront of everyone's minds before the crucial vote next week.
For me it's vital Pat breaks the record, otherwise I feel Morley will just edge it.

Why? He's been fantastic this year. Monaghan has also been quality, close between the two of them imo.

| Personally, the whole MoS process lost all credibility the season that Barrett didn't get it.

How is it? James Roby has been awesome this year for Stains. One of their most consistent performers.

The dream team No.9 is about being the best No.9 all season, a fact that Roby has not been. He may well have been a consistent performer for stains, but not the best in the league.

None of the above is fact. It's just your opinion. The only player who comes close is Michael Monaghan, but his defence is too shabby IMO to be in the Dream Team at nine so James Roby just edges it.
