i think if you dont use amos in replacement for pat then you could use the man monster/softar$e karl pryce!

In Madge we trust but for me its got to be his last chance.

Pryce is drinking in the last chance saloon without any doubt. He has all the potential in the world but MUST start to realise it this year or he faces the rest of his career scraping round clubs at the foot of SL or top of NL.



He does provide excellent cover and his try scoring record speaks for itself, but he must step out of the shadows and not only push for a Wigan shirt but also probably an International shirt, if he is to justify a any long term contract at Wigan.



Great news regards Deacon gives us several options across the park by having him included in the squad.

Pleased about Deacon. Not sure about Pryce. He has a good try scoring record but is lazy returning the ball and does not use his size very well. For his size he should be playing prop. I hope he makes it, I really do.

Pleased about Deacon, unsure on Pryce. I think the reason that most people don’t like or rate him is his attitude. I don’t know the guy at all, but when he plays he appears to be virtually uninterested, and lacks the heart and passion that I expect. This may be completely off the mark, but it is my perception of the guy.

1) It'll probably give Joe Mellor a shot at 1st team rugby to see how he is progressing



2) I've always backed Pryce. He's still only 23 and has only had one season at Wigan where he has been anything like fit. His try scoring record was good last year, and provided his contract is reasonable is worth a risk. Much however will depend on how he adapts to another pre-season under the Maguire, Wane and Bitcon torture regime.



Personally I'd like to see him lose about a stone and work with a dedicated sprint coach to improve his speed off the mark, something very difficult for someone so big.

Have you considered that Pryce may be costing us very little?



I could understand your annoyance if the club were trying to sell him to us as a big signing, but at present I'd imagine he fills a neat little gap on the register. And if Maguire and Wane still want him, then I'm willing to give him another go. They've surely proved by now that they're nobody's mugs.

Pryce contributes absoulutely nothing to our team what so ever, I just do not understand this decision at all.
