One of the worst debuts I've seen in years, looked completely out of his depth throughout the game. Didn't seem to know the drills, wasn't linking up, looked like the speed of the game genuinely stunned him.

Kicks were really poor.



Don't mean to bag on a young lad, but compared to other recent debuts he looked totally out of his depth.

I was just copying a report from Last son of Wigan who posted that after his debut in the Challenge Cup against Leigh

The post by LastSonOfWigan was obviously just a post by someone who needed to moan about something. He played well against Leigh and it sounded like he had a stormer today.

Excellent game from Williams. Really takes on the line and puts doubt into the defence (what of it there was today). His try was a cracker.

Makes a bit easier to understand.

No I wasn't being sarcastic I was bringing up a quote from last son of Wigan from when George made his debut in The challenge cup against Leigh and hoping that Last son of Wigan might like to respond to his performance today. I am a big fan of all our players and don't post negative comments. You are right though I wasn't at the game today, as its a bit to far from Florida but I did listen to it via Wish FM.

He was excellent, would have been in my top 3 MoM (if that was still going). Didn't look out of place at all; yet another credit to Wane's coaching systems/methods!

Bilko your fame on FM spreads, as well as the main presenter saying that you are like a lucky charm to Wigan when commentating, it seems that you have listeners World Wide. What next, Groupies camped outside your front door?.



As a matter of interest Paul Prescott was doing a similar thing on GMR and he made a good job of it.

Maybe GMR see Bilko as a threat or Paul is looking for a career change earlier than anticipated.

I have just watched the 2min highlights on Wigan TV and I could not believe how big Williams was when stood at the side of Sam ,he looked far bigger (and this at 18 years old).



I think that Rouges may be right with what he has said in the past that he can see George at hooker in the future.
