...can we take beer to our seats?





Had a look back at the pics from the 'Dragon Pour La Journee' (© Pemps) final in 2007 and we definitely had pints in our seats back then. Don't remember if we had smuggled them in past the stewards or if we were allowed up with them from the bar though due to excessive





Anyone know?

I went in 2007 and you were allowed to bring drinks to your seat. But I am not sure about nowadays.

No problems with it last year.

You could last year... but at over £4 a plastic pot we decided not to.

At least Dick Turpin wore a mask eh!

Thing is the queues were bloody massive. If I remember rightly it was £4.30 a pint, £4 a sausage butty, £7.50 for fish and chips.

How much was a bottle of Oasis? lol

Can you take drinks into the stadium - obviously not glass bottles / cans of ale.

And they ran out last year and for some reason they switched from the fast pour system to pouring out of plastic bottles.

No bottles or cans but you can take a few butties in sandwich bags. They stopped people with buttyboxes last year.

Are we allowed airhorns?

We called at a couple of pubs around midday then found an off-licence selling cans for a pound. They'd brought in a couple of chest freezers, tipped in loads of ice then filled them with different cans of ale. It was a bit pick and mix but it worked for us
