A few Wigan lads on show , Jack Hughes impressing me with his strong running

Hughes is definately one to watch for the future.

Hughes, Tomkins, Crosby, Mellor and Davies? (I assume that's our Ben Davies).



Hughes got done for the first Widnes try btw.

I get more and more impressed with Crosby every time I see him.



How many Wigan connections are in this game?



Tomkins, Mellor, Davies, Crosby, Hughes, Coyle, Ballard, Allan, Kavanagh + both head coaches and probably more.

Just thought that watching now! Whats the crack with dual reg players? Thought there was a limit of 3 per team? Widnes seemingly have half their team on dual reg or loan........Hughes, Tomkins, Crosby, Mellor & Penny so far ive counted that aren't theirs!!!



Doesn't board well for SL next year for them....or the national league for that matter? Isnt it about time we just had done and have the championship as a feeder league for the SL like the Toyota cup in Aus?

Not all are dual reg, some are on loan, I think Kevin penny, and maybe one or two of the Wigan lads are on loan rather than dual reg

Hughes is at Barrow isn't he? Penny is on a normal loan.



Widnes are being very smart. They got a core together that will go onto SL and then they will fill the other spots from the NRL. They obviously can't sign them yet so dual reg is the way forward.

Agreed Crosby really impresses me, he has the size and style to be one hell of a Prop forward. One of the best prospects in that position and ahead of Davies for me who has gone off the boil post injury.



We I feel are coming into a Golden era of top class British Props with some of the lads coming through.

Who put that England v Exiles promo together? My guess would be some first year film students at Wigan College.

Davis and Hughes are with Barrow.



And Davis has just destroyed Widnes' #7.

Poor and unecessary hit from Davis. Similar to Kavanagh's on Rooney (?) first half.

Hopefully Crosby and Mossop can both be Wigan and England prop forwards in the next 3 years! That would be awesome!



Agree on Ben Davies - Think he will go after this year...not good enough. Jurys still out on the last tomkins too....would love him to make it but not sure if he'll be good enough.

He seems to be straight out of the Coley mould of player in that for all accounts his a gent off the pitch but hurts players on it.



He should have made his debut vs Quins IMO.

Great seeing so many of our younger lads playing well.



Logan's had a cracking couple of runs too.
