When you look at it like that is doesnt look too bad. Isn't Carmont retiring though? Dont get me wrong I'm not saying Thomas is a great signing or anything like that but dont you think its a stop gap for a year until a big signing becomes available in 2013. With most players only moving at the end of a contract its a bit of a jig saw in terms of timings |

Why is everyone presuming Joel has gone? There's no evidence apart from a few whispers in the pubs until he's actually been confirmed as to leaving then I am still classing this as exactly what it is a "rumour"

What will happen to all of the spare salary cap space that these players will create? I realise that players stepping up and therefore so will their wages but Gleeson Hoffman and Coley must have been on £450K ish between them. |

Carmont is here for another year.
Weve only got rumours to go off at the moment so its hard to say for sure until we know who we are getting. Hopefully weve got one or two others lined up bar the unspectacular rumoured signings  |

we dont have to splash iy around for the sake of it....clubs run as a business.
some money would go to extending young prospects contracts i would imagine |

I reckon we will keep our options open, the way we are run at the moment suggests we wont just throw the money around. IL & SW would rather play the youngsters & wait for the right players if we are splashing the cash. |
