| After watching watching Cas kick Leeds backside tonight i have to admit its going to take a good side to beat Castleford this season. They are BRILLIANT as a Wigan fan i have to admit they have signes some SUPERB players and have to admit they would have knocked at least 40 points past Wigan tonight

Not sure what you're basing your 'put 40 points on Wigan' comment on? They were superb and nobody should try to take anything away from that. Their consistency will be important if they suffer injuries to key players. Leeds were poor and it's hard to think we'll play anything like they did last night. I'm very confident in Wigan this season and I think we'll beat them!

| remember Wakefield put 62 past us last season and on that performance they looked like world beaters, Leeds were a very very poor team last night. One swallow doesn't make a summer

| Good side who will rightfully lap up all the praise. They detest us but I have nothing against them and they're good to watch.
It's a long season though and I've seen plenty of sides (including us in 2012) in stunning form only to fall away.

| Great form so far and I hope they keep it up! We need teams like Cas and others to up the standard of SL. It is then up to other teams like Wigan to play better if they want to win anything.

| If they can follow up last nights stunning performance with another, and another, then grind out four or five wins on the trot from losing positions, then you may have a point.
Until then, I'll take it in the context its in - a thumping home win against a woeful Leeds side who clearly still haven't got over losing Sinfield.

Leeds were poor and Cas will meet teams who put up a better resistance for sure but I have been watching RL for long enough (nearly 60 years) to recognise a good team when I see one.

| I have been reading blogs from wire fans harking back to their 2012 team and the fantastic rugby they played. Look at the league table and you see Wigan had the best scoring record that year.
Teams can play exciting rugby and go through periods were they look unbeatable, remember Schofields Saints can go through the season unbeaten? A stuffing from Wigan on good Friday and that all changed.
I am confident this current Wigan team will be contesting the trophies throw in the injured stars and the team can only get better

| Cas start well every season. They managed to get to a CC final but were out of gas before August.
3 games in and people are getting excited about a side that does this every season. One of two injuries they are going to struggle.

Wigan will be contesting all trophies this season in my view. Nobody is saying that Cas will win everything or are unbeatable but nobody can deny the great performances they have shown in their three games so far. It is great for SL. Ideally we want all teams playing well and then the winners are the the team who can play even better at the crucial times of the season.

| Fair's fair, I don't care how poor Leeds were yesterday, Cas were absolutely outstanding. Would've been a completely different game if they were playing Wigan, but still would've been incredibly difficult to stop on that showing.
As for GF winners, I still seriously doubt it. Could be a decent outside bet for Wembley, but they're still in the position that 2 or 3 injuries hurts Cas a lot more than it hurts us, or even Wire, Hull & Saints for that matter.

| They are playing some great rugby, really enjoyable to watch. Powell is an excellent coach, hope he takes on England at some point. I'm tipping Cas to make another final this year, maybe even win the Challenge Cup.

We already have 2 or 3 injuries.
Roberts Chase Patrick & Oli Holmes are all first teamers who were missing last night. Also Hitchcox is injured but more of a squad player.
The last 2 weeks we haven't even used all of our subs. Maher didnt get on lasrt night and Monaghan didn't last week against Wire.
Anyway to stick 60 on any leeds side was incredible and certainly left me pinching myself to make sure it happened.
