Disgraceful second half by us Lima played more like a second rower than a prop hope we get better for the next game

Far more good to take from the game than bad. We will learn an awful lot from the last twenty minutes. I had an horrible feeling that we would suffer with 4 forwards on the bench, and I think we did. As soon as Deacon was injured and had to leave the field it was going to be a struggle, I thought we coped well and played quite well in both attack and defence. As soon as Carmont got cramp the game changed, our attack lost its bite, we lost the momentum down that flank and Saints grew in confidence. Their speed picked up and we gave silly penalty's away as a result.

Last try was 'another famous Saints forward pass try' !

Have to say the Hoff looks amazing. One of only a few who can hold his head up. Great attack and terrific defence capped off with a stunning try.

It made up for the try Smith didn't give us earlier - which was a try.

Carmont was very strong, as was Mcilorum, Hoffman and Mossop.



I certainly wouldn't put Lima amongst our worst - I thought he was decent for his first competitive game. Goulding, Joel and Leuluai were very poor though.



65 minutes in I was relatively happy with the perfomance, unfortunately it just went downhill very quickly in the last 15. Not worried at all, you know with the coaching team we have we'll learn lessons from it.

I spotted 1 mistake! That was from a pass to the shoulder which admittedly should have been taken but is still the sort of pass that's most likely to go to ground. I don't think he was amongst our worst performers.

Your right it was, unless you consider the forward momentum rule, in which case it wasn't.

we should have kept going at them rather than five drives and a kick we just gave them to much ball and because they had all the ball too many penalties.

a lesson learned i think.

I wouldnt say Mossop was superb...



Yes he took the ball in well and looked comfortable at prop but he made crucial errors in the game. I do need to watch the game again though as I would of missed a few things at the game. My only standout player was Hoffman.
