You can only go off what you see, and if Saturdays game is played by both teams in their respective form from this weekend, then I'm well within my right to feel confident.



I've no doubt wire will improve but so will we, the question is can wire improve enough on that performance to reach a similar level to which Wigan are at?



Don't get me wrong I think it'll be resonabley close score, but it might a little bit bigger in are favour if Morley and Carvell are out.

I saw enough from Briers tonight to know we'll have to be on our game defensively. He was outstanding. That was a good win for Warrington. Ok very scrappy but it is rarely anything but at Wheldon Road. Can't remember too many easy Wigan wins there over the years. In fact I'm struggling to remember one. We will have to find an improved kicking game I think.



Next week though I think the pressure is all on Warrington. Our record at that ground in a way takes the pressure off us and on to them. Should be a cracker and I hope the two players are not banned so theirs no excuses.

Me neither.... bring on the Wire. Its early doors in the season but i don't see the Grand final winners being Warrington.. Defence is still an issue and apart from myler being on the end of a few things, I can't see atkins/bridge and the anderson brothers having the quality or desire to reach the GF.



After the pre-season games and the two home matches... I don't want to get carried away but I have seen game by game improvement, a desire in defence that I haven't seen for at least a decade and a coach who wants improvement, improvement, improvement!!! and will consult anyone (even martinez!) to ensure that its not just his players that are improving and getting better, but he and his coaching staff are aswell...

I've had a miserable day for personal reasons but that comment cheered me up. Just spat my brew out laughing at that comment.

Wigan have had two nice home games would of liked to have seen how you would have gone against that Cas team on the back of beating the Champions away.



Everyone likes to try and see things in there teams performances to hope to work out how the season might pan out but after two games its very hard to tell.

They only get semi's these days.

We'd have put 30 on both of those teams tonight.
