I understand the point he was trying to make - he just expressed it an absolutely awful way. Never looked convinced (and looked quite rattled) on the how hard are you finding the Leeds job question.

How anyone can justify a coach coming out with that is beyond me

He looked a bag of nerves and very uncomfortable throughout the interview tbh. The guy asked him was he enjoying the job and his head nearly fell off

Me too. He seemed to be trying so hard to convince people that he was enjoying it but it didnt wash with me. He sounded more desperate than confident that things would get better imo

Leeds should get Brian Noble in. He'd make them competative and take them to the business end of the cup and the play offs which i'm not sure McDermott will be able to.

No No No.. Noble is known for his late surges into plays off and Grand Finals

Would be our luck that he come in to Leeds and did a miracle and then we'll have 'why have you sacked him?'

How is McDermott still at leeds? he has done an awful job.

I always liked McDermott. He was one British coach who never sought to blame others for his team's failings, and never came over as churlish or resentful. I'm not enjoying watching his troubles at Leeds, though I couldn't give two hoots about Leeds themselves.
