Makes a drab game more interesting though

Josh Charnley's the new Joe Lydon. Joe used to boot them over from the touchlines on a regular basis, but put him in the front of the posts, and he had more chance of hitting the corner flag!

I had Wigan -32 and Castleford +26, twice now Josh has let me down with his kicking

Josh's missed kick earned me £25

I very nearly took wakey as I thought the conditions would make it more difficult but went for it anyway. tbh I'm disappointed we didn't post more points in the end with the amount of possession we had on their line. I had Cas +16, Bradford -12 and Catalan +2 in a 4 fold so Charnley isn't my good books at the minute

Back to the kicking game............he just doesn't look confident IMO. With Faz, Tickle and Pat, you just expected them to make the kicks, and you forgave them the occasional miss. What's Josh's kick percentage? Bilko?

If it is a confidence issue then I hope he can sort it out because if Richards doesn't get back to full fitness it is key that we have a good goal kicker. I was surprised at Widnes when Charnley was banging them over from the sidelines so I'm just not sure what has changed since that game.

Missing the game clincher at Widnes hasn't helped IMO.

If he's kicking from sideline but missing easier ones it's mostly about technique and angles.

That can be sorted, no danger. I'm sure they club aren't sitting back.

It's just takes time

Sam used to kick for the under 20s when he was in there, i know we cant expect it to be the Sam show but we need a back up kicker he has a good percentage ratio.

Not much that I remember, he didn't...though perhaps Bilko can confirm - it was mostly Nicky Stanton or Josh Veivers that kicked in that age group, from my memory.
