Well if that's the case why isn't he coming back to Wigan instead of going to Widnes. Always gave 100% but his body just isn't up to it too small for a prop. Good luck for the future Eamon.

I don't think he's bad. This is a bigger picture thing here. Widnes are probably gonna pay him a similar wage (remember this IS a job) but he's gonna be traveling to Widnes now not Hull it will be to save money. Hull probably weren't gonna win anything in his 3 year contract anyway so he may as well play at a club he doesn't have to travel almost the entire width of the country to get to.

I thought from what I'd read on Twitter over the close season he'd moved over to Hull, so I'm surprised it's the travel that's being cited as a reason. Always thought he gave 100% whilst with us - Widnes at least seem to be putting together a better squad for next season.

Widnes won't be as a bad next year and it is a big step from the Championship to Superleague.With Ste O Connor at our club I feel we will improve year on year.He has already stated that 4 or 5 clubs struggling with finances.One we know is Bradford and if more clubs go bust then more cherry picking.

Do not really care to be honest.Just that the posts are acting like we will be bottom of the league again.Which I disagree with and teams have overspent.This is why clubs are in meltdown, and Widnes lost out due to some teams overspending.Only big clubs like Wigan,Leeds,Hull,Saints,and Wire can afford big salary caps.Unless small clubs have a sugar daddy.Just saying how it is and Carroll was obviously good enough the other year?Now goes Widnes he is a awful player? |

he ain't awful, it's just that he doesn't seem big enough to be a front line prop and has been injury prone in the past. He would have been struggling to get any game time at Wigan this year with Lima, Moose, Prekki, Eric, Dudson, Flower and Spencer ahead of him
