Evryone is now saying Wire must be favourites to win. All the hype after them winning the challenge, cup, now they might well do, but i still think we're the best team in the league (proven) and we SHOULD win it.

They played well today. An on form Wigan would have wiped the floor with Leeds too. At full-tilt I'd back us against anyone, this will be one hell of a playoff series  |

suprised its not the other way round after todays performance , although bookies are rarley wrong. Leeds not good enough this year , Saints too old, the winner has to be either Wire or Wigan

Must agree. I would put Wire as favourites however they are likely to have to get past their bogie team first. The chances are one of us, St Helens, Wire and Leeds will win the GF. Wire are the only one with a clean bill of health and have the confidence and the experience of winning when it really matters. A few a writing Leeds off now but i think a few of them have a point to proove over tne next month. Still anybodies IMO. |

I don't read that as him putting down Wigan just bigging up his home team when probably asked does he think Wigan will win the GF. What do you expect a player of any team in the playoffs to answer?
