Tomkins had ball when howell hit him just unfortunate whistle had just gone.



As for sargent you can call him a thug all you want I have seen a lot worse from players from your team. this season and a few last year aswell.

He stopped him offloading by legally taking him down to the floor.



The fact anything at all was said about the incident was only as a result of Cunningham having a big girly winge. The same Cunningham that got away scot free with breaking a players eye socket the week before by giving him a sly dig in the face.

No.....Richard Myler plays for Salford. And he's allegedly the best youngster.

I believe its was the second or third whistle when Howell hit him..and to be honest our pack isnt aggressive enough to cheap shot.....anymore?

Have just posted a similar thing on the Cas forum, but personally I think Tomkins can be as good as he wants to be. All the skill in the world and great understanding of the game. I can see the comparisons with Edwards.



His attitude has been questioned and rightly so, he appears to be a very petulant and cocky young man. But so were some of the best half backs, Murphy, Edwards and Gregory. Players that the opposition fans and players wanted to see get smashed.



Hopefully he will continue to develop and prove to be a great player for England and Great Britain.

Where's the thread where he cried when they were relegated? Best thread ever. Hard to take him seriously after that!

That Cas thread is ing magic, great read.

Tomkins is a great, young and most important of all a British player.



As a Cas fan he was the main difference between the teams tonight, whereas our go to guy (Chase) just wasn't firing on all cylinders.



Saying he is the best young talent in the country is arguable, as both he and Myler have been brilliant this year but i know that Wigan fans will be looking at it from your perspective and see Tomkins as the best. Both will be playing for England in the future which in my opinion is the biggest factor. I think its a toss up really.



The guy does have an attitude and for a rival fan he just seems to have the hate factor ala Sean Long. I'm not a big fan of his personality but in terms of talent i'd love him at Cas to pair with Chase.
