Aye. I was there the day Latics sealed the 2nd division title and promotion to the championship.
I can't remember the last time I missed a league game against Huddersfield for the rugby and the closest we cam was a couple of years back when they had to start moving the netting on the left hand side of the stand to fit everyone in. It was probably about 80-85% full in the end. |

It aint a knocking thread, lad says you fill your end at ours, you dont but hes struggling with that.
Its hard when your in the end, i thought we had a lot more there last night from my seat, but when you see it from the other end then it doesnt look a lot. |

ATEOTD we can scoot over this as much as we want BUT simply IMO Hudds support yesterday was pathetic!
Cheap tickets, 2nd vs 3rd and a reasonable KO time on a Saturday means they should have brought twice as many as they did.
The big one this year, IMO of course, was wasted on Hudds. Hull KR & Leeds would have been a better options at getting a potential 22k crowd. I even think Cas would have brought more on a Wed night.

Your right, we've had opposition supporters before swear blind that they have brought thousands more, until they have viewed the match footage, being stuck in the middle of the upper middle section which is packed does give an impression that there is a good following. |
